Creative Therapy

Since becoming a mom, I have been relentless in my pursuit to find something that defines me outside of being "Austin's mommy." However, nothing (other than Jesus) is more important to me than my family. I love laughing with them, making memories with them, and just doing life with them. I guess it's this love of capturing the moments with those I love that led me to scrapbooking. I guess I did do a little scrapbooking before Austin, but it's taken on a whole new meaning since our little man was born. Not to mention all the other major events we've celebrated in our family. I cannot tell you what a blessing it is to look back at the pictures and notes and see evidence of how much I love and am loved.

Through scrapbooking (and blogstalking those that scrapbook) I've branched out and tried other crafty things. This is also an effort to give heartfelt gifts without spending a boatload of money AND to find ways to decorate empty walls in my house.

I have so enjoyed capturing the wonderful relationships I have with my families and hope you will enjoy looking at my attempt to be creative.
